My story began in Ironton, Ohio—a small, working-class town on the Ohio River where grit was a survival skill. I didn't start at the top. I began my career as a child protective investigator, learning the realities of complex systems from the ground up. Through relentless dedication, I advanced through the ranks of state government. Eventually, I had the honor of serving as the Regional Managing Director and Chief Administrator for the Florida Department of Children and Families Central Region (DCF).

In that role, I was entrusted with leading a 2,000-person workforce and managing a $442 million annual budget. We were doing much more than managing metrics; our core mission was protecting lives and creating tangible impact. That crucible taught me that true leadership is rooted in authentic human engagement rather than simply issuing transactional directives.

Throughout my tenure with the DCF, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional leaders and collaborating with passionate, resilient teams. Together, we served Florida's incredibly diverse communities, spanning the state from Pensacola to Key West. That work also carried me beyond Florida's borders — as a delegate, I had the honor of exchanging best practices peer-to-peer with government leaders across five nations and four continents, across U.S. states, and directly, colleague to colleague. Every exchange deepened my conviction to build systems that protect people, empower leaders, and create a lasting, positive impact.

 

Today, I remain deeply grateful and committed to advancing this mission across two arenas. As Director of Projects for Florida's first child protection community-based care and behavioral health managing entity, I remain dedicated to the front lines that shaped everything I know about leadership. As Founder, Chairman & CEO of TriTrust Legacy Enterprises Inc., I take those same hard-won lessons global. The passion and mission have never changed. Only the scale has.

 

Advocacy, Integrity, and Human Rights.

Long before I managed state budgets or advised global enterprises, my career began on the front lines of advocacy. Serving as a Campaign College Representative for the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C., I learned that true leadership requires standing up for marginalized communities and fighting for fundamental human dignity.

 

That foundational commitment to human rights advocacy has informed every step of my career. Whether it is reforming child protection systems to protect vulnerable youth—work that led my alma mater to honor me as "The Children's Advocate" —ensuring equitable access to digital legal services, or mentoring the next generation of leaders, my moral architecture remains the same: authority is only valuable when it is used to protect, elevate, and empower others.

When you are tasked with protecting communities and leading massive organizations, good enough is never enough, nor should it ever be. I sought out the most rigorous executive education in the world because the people and teams I served deserved world-class strategies. My ongoing intellectual infrastructure includes:

  • Legal & Risk Architecture: Juris Master (J.M.) Candidate specializing in Risk Management and Employment Law at the Florida State University College of Law.

     

  • Foundational Governance: Bachelor of Arts in Government & World Affairs from The University of Tampa.

 

Education is only as valuable as the impact it creates. I use these tools daily to break down barriers and engineer better systems for my clients and my community.

After decades in public service, I launched TriTrust Legacy Enterprises Inc. to solve a critical problem: the massive geographic barriers that prevent everyday people and rural communities from accessing elite, highly secure legal and executive services.

While we are headquartered in Florida, I personally ensured our firm was registered in my home state of Ohio. We are actively building a remote talent pipeline to bring high-level independent contractor opportunities back to my home town and surrounding areas.
